The Energy Ball is a revolutionary wind turbine. What makes it unique are its shape and the scientific principles in its design. The wind turbine rotation makes use of the Venturi Principle, where the blade structure constricts the flow of air through the turbine, reduces the air pressure and increases its speed. The resulting air flow easily rotates the ball, producing high energy output.
Unlike the conventional three bladed turbine designs, which have very high blade tip speeds, the Energy Ball is essentially noiseless and poses no risk to birds and bats. Its output is much higher when compared to small vertical axis wind turbines.
The Energy Ball is completely unique, patented and makes conventional small wind designs obsolete.
In practical terms, the Energy Ball offers the following advantages:
-It is very attractive compared to conventional wind turbines.
-It requires minimal scheduled maintenance.
-It is silent. It cannot be heard over the wind.
-The shape and structure result in no flicker.
-It does not pose a risk to bird or bats.
-Incorporation of solar panels into the configuration boosts electrical output and provides power day and night.
Installation is simple. The Energy Ball® can either be installed on a pole or mast mounted on your roof. Connecting the Energy Ball into your home electrical panel or to batteries is quick and easy when done by a licensed electrician.
The Energy Ball comes in two versions, the V500 and V1500 which will meet different energy levels of customer requirements. Larger Energy Balls will be shipping in 2016.
Energy Ball® V500
The rated capacity of the Energy Ball® V500 generator is 500 W. At maximum capacity, output delivered directly into the utility grid through the WindPower Inverter is 1000W at 230 VAC and 60 Hz.
Specification Summary
Energy Ball V500 |

For installations into the grid, the V500 comes with a WindPower Inverter. This enables grid suitable electrical parameters (230 VAC, 60 Hz). Once V500 installation is completed, you can begin using the electricity for your own use. If more energy is generated by the Energy Ball® than your own system requires, the utility meter will run backwards and the energy is automatically sent to the grid.
For energy storage installations into batteries, the V500 comes with a WindPower Charger that enables suitable specifications for charging batteries (12V or 24 V). The WindPower Charger can accommodate most brand/types of batteries.
Energy Ball® V1500
The rated capacity of the Energy Ball® V1500 generator is 1500 W. At maximum capacity, output delivered directly to the utility grid by the WindPower Inverter is 3000 W at 230 VAC and 60 Hz.
