As part of their ongoing commitment to the environment and recent legislative changes in Estonia, Tele2 will be partnering with Home Energy to deploy a hybrid (wind and solar) solution to be the source of backup power for their Loobu base station.

“Unlike generators, our solution is unique because of its power generating capacity, electricity cost saving, environmental benefits. ” said Andy King.

The trial is set to begin deployment in April of this year.
